“Those who wait upon God get fresh strength, they spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind.” — Isaiah 40:31

Who are The Eagles?

The Eagles are people who are retired, semi-retired, planning to retire, hoping someday to retire, or anyone of any age who is available on any of the event dates. You do not need to be a member of Trinity to attend.

On May 24, 2006, a Senior Adult Council met for the first time to develop a plan of ministry by, with, and for older adults that includes spiritual growth, education, training, mission and service, and fellowship.  Thereafter, it was decided that this group should be named the Eagles.  Presently the Eagles Council is made up of 15 members.

The Eagles meet for fun, fellowship, and food!

Luncheons are held generally on the FIRST Monday of the month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

The Eagles  focus on the following ministries:

• Promoting food collection for ACTS

• Volunteering at Anchor Health and Rehab — Conducting a worship service the fourth Sunday of each month (9:30 AM – 10 AM), overseeing a visitation program, and maintaining bird feeders outside residents’ windows
